Had a great weekend in London mainly around Covent Garden & Shoreditch. We helped our son Marko move to London. After getting his first-class honours degree in Motion Graphics at Atrium Cardiff, he has been taken on full time by Hugo & Cat, a design company in Shoreditch doing just what he wants to do. Didn't want to haul my gear around the City so I used a neat and playful app on the iPhone - Hipstamatic. It replicates retro photo styles. Here's a composite of some shots. Many couples will know Marko as he has shot lots of weddings with me and is an imaginative photographer.

As part of my website overhaul, I've added two samples from recent weddings to show how a day can unfold. It takes a fair bit of time to develop thiese galleries but it will be an ongoing process.

A truly customized wedding and heaps of fun

Perpetua's vivacious personality and fertile imagination went on the rampage as all her ideas and designs fell seamlessly into place. From the hanging giraffe to the Bollywood workshop, everyone contributed to a day full of  enormous fun.

Our lad Marko, who is often on second camera at wedding shoots, has graduated from Universary and his final show is on from Friday 10th for a week at The Atrium, Cardiff. He studied Visual Effects & Motion Graphics. Here are two videos he produced. Spacehoppers in Venice was made purely from a series of still photographs animated to create a video. The video went viral after around 100,000 hits and featured on the Guardian and BBC websites, shown on S4C and used in the Manfrotto Venice Biennial promo. The other video is about a man who eats his wife. I blame it all on the parents.
